Chapter 11: Who Reads Newspapers?

Nutello then grabbed a giant machine gun from her backpack, much too big to fit in it. "Alright, come and get some!" she growled, ready to kill the minions if she needed to. However, they didn't move. Nutello loaded her gun and shot one, and it went flying back into the wall and hit the wall, breaking into pieces. Nutello stared as sparks flew out of it.
"Wait a sec..." she said and approached the "minion". It was a robot.
"Huh...?" Anonsi raised an eyebrow. She touched another "minion", but it didn't respond. Also a robot.
"Ha!" Nutello grinned, "stupid Tired--"
"NUTELLO! ANONSI! COME IN!" yelled Tiggerpaka's voice from the walky-talky.
Nutello grabbed her walky-talky, realizing Tiggerpaka had panic in his voice. "Yes, emperor?!"
"Come back to the base. It's an emergency!" Tiggerpaka exclaimed. "No time to explain!"
"Right!" Nutello nodded, "over and out!" she turned to Anonsi. "Come on! Tiredblade must be attacking the base! And I am not letting him destory HQ again!"
Anonsi nodded. "Let's go!"

Nutello and Anonsi finally got back and scurried into the porta-potty. The elevator went down and they ran through the hallway. Nutello almost fell over a few times from running, yet Anonsi was swift and didn't fall at all. Nutello charged at the paw-presser and slammed her paw onto it, and the doors opened. Nutello rushed inside. "N...Nu...Nutello and An...Anonsi r...reporting..." she panted, "is everything alright?!"
Tiggerpaka faced them, "WE'RE OUT OF GRUBS!"
Silence. Nutello exchanged looks with Anonsi, then turned to Tiggerpaka. "...That's all?"
"We're out of GRUBS!!" Tiggerpaka repeated, looking devastated.
Nutello facepawed. "You made us come here ALL THE WAY from NEW YORK, just because you are out of grubs?! Are you kidding me?!"
"Being out of grubs is an emergency! We must get more!" Tiggerpaka insisted.
Anonsi rolled her eyes. "Great. The only thing we found out was that Tiredblade's minions were fake."
"Who's dis 'ere Tire'blade?" Yoho asked, scratching his head.
"The most foulest creature in the world," Tiggerpaka glared.
"An' waz dis 'ere New Pork city?" Yoho raised an eyebrow.
"New York," Nutello corrected him.
"Yeah, Nuthead, that's what I said. New Pork," Yoho nodded.
Nutello sighed. "Well, get the helicopters out again. We're going back to New York."
"Can I come 'long with yehs to New Pork?" Yoho asked.
"No!" Anonsi exclaimed.
"YES," Tiggerpaka said, "please take him with you. He's driving me nuts."
Nutello sighed. "Fine..."

The helicopters landed in New York and Nutello stepped out, followed by Anonsi and Yoho, who was marveling at the city. "I've never bin to a city 'fore!" he beamed, "look a' all teh flashin' lights! An' it's loud 'ere..."
"Just follow me, Yoho," Nutello said.
"You got it, Nuthead," Yoho grinned.
Sighing, Nutello lead the way into the city. She scootched along the walls, and so did Anonsi and Yoho, making people give them weird looks. Nutello then peeked around the corner. The way to the subway was there. Nutello ran for it and went down the stairs, Anonsi and Yoho close behind.
As they walked down, Yoho found a button on the wall. "What does this button do?" he asked, and he pressed it.
"Yoho, don't--!" Nutello began, but was cut off.
A security guard approached. "You rang the button, what's the problem?"
"Er...I am sorry sir," Nutello said, changing her voice to a British accent, trying to be "undercover", "but my good friend here, um...Alexander, he is a bit curious and accidentally pressed the button. We do apologize and we'll make sure he doesn't do it again."
"My name ain't Alex--" Yoho began, but Anonsi kicked him.
The security guard looked at them, muttered something about "freaks", then walked away.
"Yoho, you gotta be more careful!" Nutello snapped.
"Well, I never bin to teh big city before, so 'scuse me!" Yoho protested.
Anonsi sighed. "We'll never get to the base at this rate..."
Nutello sat on the bench. She grabbed a newspaper and read an article.

HIDDEN ARMY?
Citizens claim to see a missile.
A missile had came out of the city and flew south, but no one knows where it landed or where it was heading for. Although the U.S. military is expected to be responsible, they claim that they weren't supposed to be launching any missiles that day.
"When I saw it," said Miss Smith, owner of the barber shop, "it flew right over the building. I didn't know what it was doing, but it looked like it came from Central Park."

Nutello looked up from the newspaper. "Wait. Tiredblade's base is in...Central Park!"

Chapter 10: Plan M

Nutello whistled as she wandered aimlessly down the hall. She paused right outside of Tiggerpaka's office. Voices floated from inside, low and excited. One of them had a distinct country accent. Nutello shrugged to herself, and continued walking.

Inside the office, Tiggerpaka and Yoho were discussing something in low voices. In front of them were several maps, a large diagram, and a large crate of dynamite. Milne was there too; she was sketching out more diagrams and maps as dictated by Tiggerpaka. "So, Milne," Tiggerpaka said, "you are sure Tiredblade has relocated his base to the subways of New York?" Milne nodded and continued sketching. "And, you are      sure that the only way to enter it is through the 2100 train on the silver track?" Milne nodded again. "Then it's settled," Tiggerpaka said firmly. "We will begin to execute Plan M tonight at 2030."
"'Cuse meh," interrupted Yoho, "but wha' in tarnation does the 'M' in "Plan M" stand fer?"
Tiggerpaka snorted. "M stands for Meerkat, obviously."
"Because meerkats are superior to jaguars?" Milne suggested. Tiggerpaka nodded.
"Exactly."

Later in the day, Milne, Nutello, and Anonsi were in the mess hall. Mimi walked out of the kitchen with a tray of ice-cold lemonade. She set it down with a bang. "So, how long until you begin Plan M?" she asked, taking a sip of her own lemonade.
"2 more hours," said Anonsi, slurping on her lemonade. Mimi turned and walked back into the kitchen.

At 2030 hours, Nutello and Anonsi were outside of the subway, each laden down with a bulky package. "About time," Nutello said, and they began pacing up and down. At last, when the train arrived, it was empty. Anonsi and Nutello took their seats, and Anonsi pressed the button labeled "Rest Stop -- Underground." The train zoomed down the track. 10 minutes later, they arrived at a crumbling gate.
"Could have picked a nicer place for a base," Anonsi remarked. Nutello nodded, and they crept silently into Tiredblade's base. They had only walked about 10 paces when a loud alarm went off. Tiredblade's minions swarmed from seemingly nowhere and surrounded Nutello and Anonsi.

In his office, Tiredblade watched the scene unfold. "Yes," he breathed. "I've got you now, Tiggerpaka."

Chapter 9: The Long-Lost Relative

It was lunchtime. Nutello was eating the pizza she had ordered. Dazzle was on the table, eating on a small piece of pizza Nutello has given her. Nutello leaned back on her chair, putting her legs on her desk in front of her, looking at the huge computer on the wall. She was in her top-secret headquarters that was still incredibly hard to get into as it did in the old headquarters. Nutello was on Skype, chatting with her brother Blackthorn.
"So...you're working for a meerkat now," Blackthorn said.
"Yep," nodded Nutello, taking a bite of pizza.
Blackthorn gave Nutello a look. "...Right...So--"
Suddenly, an alarm sounded. Nutello yelled out and fell out of her chair, and quickly got to her feet. "Everyone!" Nutello shouted into her walky-talky, "I'll deal with this!"
"No fair! I want to!" protested Nota Bene's voice.
"No, if it's Tiredblade Nutello deserves to catch him," said Milne's voice.
"See you Blackthorn," Nutello said to her brother, who, if possible, looked even more weirded out than before. Nutello turned the computer off and grabbed a machine gun, then ran out of the headquarters. No one was in the hallway despite the alarms were still blaring and red was flashing from the alarms. Nutello ran to the elevator and pressed the "up" button, and the doors closed and the elevator moved up. Nutello then grabbed some dark sunglasses and put them on her eyes for dramatic effect.
Finally, the elevator stopped moving. Nutello was in the porta potty. She then kicked the door open and held up her machine gun. "Alright,  come on out, fool! I know you're here to destroy my two years of work!" She looked around, growling. No one was there, but the alarm on the side of the porta potty was flashing, meaning there still was an unknown person on the territory. Nutello then saw rustling in the bushes.
"Show yourself and no one gets hurt!" she exclaimed, loading the machine gun.
Suddenly, the person stepped out of the bushes: a weasel with an old, beat-up straw hat, one front tooth, overalls, and a straw coming out of his mouth. Flies were buzzing around him. Nutello aimed the gun at him, suspecting he was a spy for Tiredblade. "Alright, who are you and who are you working for??" Nutello demanded, glaring at him through her sunglasses.
"Howdy, y'all!" he said in a strong hillbilly-like accent. He looked at the machine gun and didn't even seem scared of it at all. "Name's Yoho!"
"Yoho?" Nutello said, lowering her machine gun slightly. No one, not even an idiot like Tiredblade, would want this guy for a spy. But still, Nutello kept her machine gun close, just in case. "And who are you working for?" she asked.
"I'm from Alabama!" exclaimed Yoho. "I'm looking for my long-lost cousin, Cletus."
"Cletus?" Nutello echoed. "Well, I'm sorry, I don't know any guy named Cletus."
"Hey, is that right there a porta potty?" Yoho asked, "I've been travellin' fer...how long now...right, 'bout hundred an' somethin' miles!" Yoho then walked to the porta potty, walking in a strange fashion. Nutello looked at him weirdly, but then ran at him.
"Wait! Don't go in there!" she exclaimed, but Yoho had already walked inside. Nutello followed him inside, and Yoho flinched as he saw her.
"Geez! Can' a guy get any privacy 'round 'ere?" Yoho shook his head.
"This isn't a porta potty!" Nutello insisted.
"Sure looks like it! You're sure a loony wolf. Y'know, back in sweet 'ome Alabama, Uncle Billy Bob went huntin' fer wolves like you! Never saw 'im again!" Yoho said.
"Well, this wolf isn't one you can hunt," Nutello replied. "Now, you'd best get out."
"An' why in tarnation would I do that?" Yoho demanded.
"Because this isn't a porta potty!"
"You'd better darn tootin' prove it!"
Nutello sighed and "flushed the toilet". The floor beneath them began moving down, and Yoho looked at Nutello wildly. "What kinda wolf are yeh? Yeh'll never take me alive, or my name ain't--"
Yoho stopped when the elevator hit the ground. "See?" Nutello said, "this is an HQ. Not a porta potty."
"Hmm. Where's--" he began, but then Tiggerpaka's kits came running up.
"Nutello! Who's that?" asked Peanut.
"Why, hello dere, young'in!" Yoho grinned, revealing some missing teeth, "why, you is a meerkat, ain'tcha? Do you happen to know where my cousin Cletus is?"
"Cletus?" echoed Reese.
"Oh well. C'mon, miss, uh...miss..." Yoho looked at Nutello.
"Nutello," Nutello said.
"Ah! Nuthead! Got it," Yoho said.
Tiggerpaka's kits all giggled, and Nutello rolled her eyes. "Right...now, you're coming to see Tiggerpaka," Nutello said, pushing Yoho ahead of her, "and don't try anything funny or you're going to go watch Cletus from the sky. Understand?"
"You got it, Nuthead!" Yoho smiled.
Sighing, Nutello pushed Yoho along the hall. No one came out into the hall; it was empty except Nutello and Yoho, and Nutello had passed Butter and Cup, who were both trying to dig a hole in the ground as a trap; Nutello, however, stopped them before they could do so, and they both walked off, muttering something about how stupid their dad's minions were.
Nutello then approached Tiggerpaka's HQ, stepping on the flowery welcome cat in front of the spiked door. She pressed her paw on the scanner before it even asked her to do so, and the doors opened. Inside revealed the gigantic room, still the same as the old HQ. Yoho walked in. "Well, I'd be darn..." he whispered, marveling at the computers.
"Tiggerpaka!" Nutello called.
The giant chair turned around, revealing Tiggerpaka sitting on his high chair. "What?"
"Cousin Cletus!" Yoho exclaimed, running over to Tiggerpaka.
"Wha-??  SHHHH!" Tiggerpaka hissed, "my name is not Cletus!"
"Well, sure it is, Cletus! It's me, Yoho!" Yoho grinned.
Nutello stared in bewilderment. "You two are related?"
"I told you Cletus was here!" Yoho said.
"SHUSSSSH! My name is Tiggerpaka the Great, it's not Cletus!" Tiggerpaka growled.
"You're name ain't Tig-whats-it, yer name's Cletus! Did you hit your head again?" Yoho asked.
"It's not Cletus anymore! I changed it!" Tiggerpaka whispered. Unfortunately for him, however, Nutello overheard and giggled, but quickly put her paw over her mouth as Tiggerpaka glanced at her. "Yoho, just go home! I order you!"
"Aw, shucks, Cletus, you always acted like a leader," Yoho smiled.
"For your information, I am a leader. Emperor, in fact! Right Nutello?" Tiggerpaka nodded.
"Er--" Nutello began.
"See? Yoho, just go home now," Tiggerpaka said.
"I can't, Cletus! Alabama's hundreds o' miles away from 'ere! I took such a long time just to come visit yeh! I'mma rest 'fore I leave again!" Yoho insisted.
"No--" Tiggerpaka began, but he was interrupted as the doors opened.
A pretty female meerkat came in. "Oh, Tiggerpaka my dear...! Hello!" she smiled.
"Helga...!" Tiggerpaka put on a fake smile, and Nutello heard him mutter, "this day is just getting better and better."
"Golly, is that yer wife? She sure is purty, Cletus!" Yoho grinned, blushing.
"Oh, thanks--" Helga began, but then gave Yoho a look. "Cletus? Tiggerpaka, who is this?"
Tiggerpaka moaned and rolled his eyes. "Helga, cousin Yoho. Yoho, my wife, Helga."
"He's your cousin?" Helga asked, "but who's Cletus?"
Tiggerpaka sighed. "...Cletus...is my old name. But I am still Tiggerpaka the Great!"
Helga began laughing. "Cletus!" she exclaimed, falling over in laughter.
Tiggerpaka facepawed. "GUARDS!" he roared.
"No, no, I'm leaving!" Helga said, still laughing hard. Still howling with laughter, Helga left the HQ, and Tiggerpaka looked extremely annoyed. Yoho, however, seemed pleased, and he grinned at Tiggerpaka.
"Yer lucky to have 'er," Yoho said.
"Oh yeah, she's a bucketload of luck," Tiggerpaka rolled his eyes.
"Tiggerpaka, sir," Nutello said, "what shall we do with Yoho?"
"We're going to make him--" Tiggerpaka began, but eyed something in Yoho's overall pocket. Nutello came around and looked where Tiggerpaka was looking. Several sticks of dynamite were in Yoho's pocket, and Tiggerpaka looked at Yoho. "Yoho? What's that...in your pocket?"
"Just got me a few sticks o' dynamite," Yoho smirked, taking a stick of dynamite and tossing it in the air and catching it.
"And what do you do with it?" Tiggerpaka asked.
"I go fishin' with it!" Yoho said.
A big grin came on Tiggerpaka's face. "I like you!"

Chapter 8: Nota Bene saves the day

Tiggerpaka strolled through the HQ. It could have been nicer, He thought was he looked up to the Solid gold ceiling. Tiggerpaka looked at his Diamond-Encrusted cup. Hmm. Not enough diamonds. He sat down in his silver-and-platinum easy chair. Ugh. He thought as he patted the extra-soft real silver cloth. Too hard. He thought, knowing it was filled with Phenex feathers. His office was horrible, as i just explained. He looked into the crystal mirror.
"Minion, Minion, that is tireblade doing?" Tiggerpaka asked the Mirrior.
"Blowing up the entrance." Mirrior replied.
"WHAAAAAAT???" yelled Tiggerpaka. Porta-potties are not exactly camo. He thought. You don't expect to see one in the open. Just then, Tiggerpaka heard a rumbling noise above the gold celing. In case you havn't guessed, the entrance just exploded, and the roof is collapsing. Nota Bene entered the room.
"Sir! Sir! The roof!"  Nota Bene yelled. She pulled out a 20 foot wide 50 foot long notepad (For long, careful notes) and stuck it in between two enlarging cracks. The roof stopped collapsing, Tiggerpaka's office ( And the rest of the HQ) was saved. Nutello walked in.
"Thank you! Thanks for saving 2 years of work!" Nutello yelled as she hugged Nota Bene.

AN: All's well that ends well.

Chapter 7: A Fresh Start

Even though it was 4:30 in the morning, all of the minions were hard at work. Many were lugging suitcases throughout the halls of the new Headquarters, moving their belongings to the new living quarters. Other minions were running papers from one meeting room to another. Still more were setting down salvaged busts of meerkats and hanging portraits of Tiggerpaka on the crisp, green walls. Amid all the chaos, Wolfward and Major Anonsi darted in and out of the bustling crowd, only slowing down when they were outside the new office of Tiggerpaka. Wolfward stretched out a paw and knocked. "Enter!" came a loud voice from inside the room. The door swung open, and Anonsi and Wolfward tiptoed inside the room. The door banged shut loudly, echoing in the silence inside the office. All noise from the outside halls vanished. The new office looked exactly like the original one. A large, wooden desk with clawed feet dominated the room. Behind the desk was a magnificent marble fireplace, and between the two, a large, swiveling winged chair. The chair was facing the fire, but the moment the door had slammed shut, the chair swiveled around to face the two minions. In it was Tiggerpaka, with his long fingers pressed together. "Minions," he said. Wolfward and Anonsi saluted, and then fell back into relaxed positions. Tiggerpaka nodded his approval. "As you have probably noticed, the adjustment to the new Headquarters has gone well. Relatively well," he amended. Even through the walls, the two minions could hear Cookie sobbing over her lost, precious frying pan, which had apparently been passed down from her grandfather.

"So, the next step is to take revenge on Tiredblade," Tiggerpaka continued, and the temperature of the room dropped slightly. "It seems we have wasted months, years even, of useless planning. From now on..." Tiggerpaka paused for dramatic effect. "...we start anew. We must make the best of the fresh start to take Tiredblade by surprise."
"And how exactly will we manage to do that, Tiggerpaka sir?" asked Anonsi. Wolfward nodded, apparently thinking the same thing.
Tiggerpaka smiled. "First, we must infiltrate his forces. Wolfward! Send one of the minions to rally all of the small-ish type minions, and tell them to start on a scouting mission. We must map out every inch of Tiredblade's territory, and what it is used for." Wolfward nodded, and Tiggerpaka turned to Anonsi.
"You, my dear Major Anonsi, must speak with Nutello. We need to build up the weapon stock again. The armory, I am sad to say, is depressingly empty. Fill it up with any weapon that will cause Tiredblade and his forces to recoil, shiver in fear, retreat, and, most importantly, break out in nervous hives. Tiredblade's minions will never scratch the same again," Tiggerpaka finished, a maniacal gleam in his eyes. Both minions nodded, and exited the room to do what Tiggerpaka asked.

"So we begin again, Tiredblade," Tiggerpaka breathed, "so we begin again."

Chapter 6: Nutello Saves the Day

Nutello stormed off. "All of the wasted years!" she yelled out. She walked away from the group of minions, and then threw a stick against a tree. "I've built that HQ, took me two years to build it, six months to design it! And what do I get? A blown up headquarters! The code was right! Tiredblade wanted to bomb us!" Her voice echoed through the forest.
That was when Dazzle scampered into the area, looking up at Nutello, twitching her whiskers. "What?" Nutello said, "Look, I'm not in my best mood. The HQ just blew up, don't you understand!? I spent so darn long on that, just to lose it to Tiredblade!"
Dazzle rolled her eyes, and gave Nutello a not-impressed look. "Yeah, I know you think I can rebuild a headquarters, Dazzle, but it's not as simple as it sounds! You got to map it out, mine it, in some occasions dig the hallways by paw, and it's just...ugh!"
Dazzle shook her head to indicate that Nutello translated wrong. Dazzle made a "two" symbol with her paw by putting two toes up, and then making an "H" sign moving her hands to draw it in the air.
"Two 'H'? Dazzle, you make no sense sometimes!" Nutello snorted.
Dazzle facepawed and glared at Nutello. She pointed to her back, then pointed up.
"Back...up..." Nutello raised an eyebrow. Dazzle quickly nodded. "OH! I made a backup headquarters! Doyyyy!"
Dazzle rolled her eyes, putting her paws on her hips. Nutello raced out to the others. "Guys! I remember, I made a second headquarters exactly similar to the first headquarters!"
"Brilliant, Nutello!" Tiggerpaka exclaimed, "I mean...nice job, Nutello, especially for a non-meerkat."
Nutello walked up to a tree and put her paw on it. Some bark fell off and under it was a wooden button. Nutello pressed it and a porta-potty came up from the ground. "I had to disguise our entrance, like our old headquarters had a payphone entrance. Let's go in!"
The group all went into the porta-potty (but they had a hard time fitting in), and Nutello pressed the handle on the toilet inside, and the ground moved down under them. The group was trapped in darkness for a while, and then they got underground.
It was like an exact replica of the old headquarters.
"Yes!" Wolfward exclaimed, "Score one for the Tiggerpaka side!"
"How did you think to do this, Nutello?" Eagle Eye asked.
"Nevermind, Eagle," Nutello responded, "We must focus on..." an evil smile spread across her face. "Revenge."

You never wanna encounter with Nutello's evil side. .3. Watch out, Tiredblade.
