Chapter 3: Another Code

Nutello banged the door open, and Milne and Tiggerpaka looked her way. Nutello stormed over and looked at them. "You're gonna read the code I cracked without me?!" she demanded, "I want to be able to assure myself I've done a good job, so I can see your impressed expressions."
"Oh Nutello," Tiggerpaka rolled his eyes, "you obviously want to be as good as I am, but you will never be as great as me, get that into your wolf-like brain."
Nutello ignored Tiggerpaka. "Look, are you gonna read it or not?"
Tiggerpaka glared at Nutello. "Stop rushing me!" he exclaimed, and then turned to the paper and began to read. "'To-Do List'... 1. Buy a fire ant. 2. Drop it on the ground 3. Stomp on it'." Tiggerpaka looked confused. "What? Nutello, this is his to-do list, not a secret code!" In frustration, Tiggerpaka threw the paper at Nutello's face. "You brought me nothing useful!"
Dazzle, who was on Nutello's shoulder, hopped down and examined the paper that was now on the table. She looked at Nutello and pointed to the list, as if to make a point. Nutello raised an eyebrow, and examined the to-do list more closely. "This is no ordinary to-do list, sir! Why would FireBlade want to buy a fire ant, drop it on the ground and stomp on it?"
"True. That'd be a waste of cash!" Tiggerpaka agreed. "He should spend it on grubs!"
Milne studied the paper. "Nutello, maybe you'd better study this more."
"No kidding," Nutello replied, picking up the paper and leaving Tiggerpaka's headquarters, Dazzle hopping onto her shoulders to go with her.
The doors closed behind Nutello. "You know," said the female voice from the paw scanner, "you didn't have to slam me like that when you went in!"
"Grow a spine, paw scanner," Nutello replied, walking down the hall, examining the to-do list. She walked down the hall, and then stopped at one of the lockers. She put in the combination, and the locker door slid up, revealing a secret passage. When Nutello was sure no one was seeing this, she snuck into the passage, pressed a button, and the locker closed behind her.
Nutello then turned to look at the dark hallway. As she walked down the hall, torches lit up, making it easier to see. She stopped in the middle of the hall, as the torches beside her lit up. She turned to a safe in the wall, scanned her paw on the door, and it opened. Inside it was another safe. She put in a combination and opened it, and inside was a box. She opened it, and said the password: "Cheese". The box slowly opened, and inside it was a pen. Nutello picked it up, closed the box, put it in the safe inside the safe, then closed it altogether. She continued down the hall, torches still lighting up as she passed them. Dazzle sniffed the air curiously.
At the end of the hall was a door. Nutello stopped at it, and the paw scanner came on. "Y'know, you didn't have to slam my sister's door," said a different female voice.
"I get it," Nutello rolled her eyes. She waited.
"To enter the headquarters of Captain Nutello, Intelligence Officer, please place paw, flipper, or whatever you have, on this pad," said the voice.
"You know it's me," Nutello said.
"You told me to do this to whoever came by," the voice pointed out.
"Yeah, but I also told you to add something," Nutello raised an eyebrow.
The voice was silent for a while, then talked. "Oh right. I'm supposed to find out how the person got in here. But you're the owner--ugh, just nevermind! Welcome, Captain Nutello."
The doors opened, and Nutelo walked in. "I don't know why I invented these door openers," Nutello muttered. She entered into a small, dark room, and the floor began going down under her. Dazzle looked around and the elevator landed in a room. It was also quite big. There was a large HD television on the wall, a giant computer, and three bookshelves filled with books. A robot rolled into the room. "How may I be of service, Captain Nutello?" it asked.
"Get me a chocolate brownie," Nutello responded. The robot turned around and walked off into a different room.
Dazzle looked at her. "What?" Nutello said. "I'm the only one in this headquarters who has a robot servant because I was the only one smart enough to build it. Only don't tell Tiggerpaka. It took me six months to build the robot."
Nutello took her seat in a lazy boy chair and sat at the large computer. Up on the screen it said "ENTER PASSWORD". Nutello typed in a word on the keyboard, and it let her in. On the screen were tons of squares, which included many pages; Microsoft Word Document, Google Chrome, Microsoft Powerpoint, Paint, and a ton more. Nutello opened Paint and scanned the to-do list, and it appeared on the Paint screen. She began writing notes on Paint.
"FIREBLADE - EVIL", was what Nutello wrote first. "POSSIBLY IN CODE", Nutello wrote, with an arrow pointing to the list. Nutello then put down a list of things about FireBlade. "WANTS TO DESTROY US. LOATHES TIGGERPAKA. WANTS TO BLOW UP HQ".
Nutello then gasped.
She found out what the to-do list was.
